Today is the first day of July — the official start of the second half of the year.
Most of us begin the year with goals and resolutions…
Resolutions we often forget by February.
My goal this year was simple: to find myself.
The constant chase for money is draining.
Trying to be good in everyone’s book? Even more draining.
So I decided to pause. Detach. Rebuild.
Even our Lord Jesus referenced destroying the temple to rebuild it in three days.
I took that literally.
I stepped away from relationships.
I stepped away from friendships.
I even stepped away from the hustle.
And I went back to my roots — trying to figure out where things started to fall apart.
The result so far?
– Mental clarity
– Emotional stability
– A healthier lifestyle
– And a deeper understanding of what truly matters… and what doesn’t.
So, ask yourself
Look back at the resolutions you made at the beginning of the year. How far?
The good part is: it’s not too late.
The second half just began. You still have time to reset, refocus, and go again.
Walk with me as we pass through this school called life.
A school where we keep learning… but never graduate.
My name is Samuel, and I’m not a motivational speaker.
